Build a complete pixel-art roguelike RPG with a modular GameMaker (GML) template.

โข Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, or Ubuntu 16.04+
โข 8GB RAM (16GB recommended)
โข 2GB free disk space

1. Open GameMaker Studio
2. File โ Open Project โ select RoguePG.yyp in the folder
3. Press F5 to run

โข Project won't open? Check GameMaker version (2022.x+)
โข Missing sprites? Extract the ZIP fully (donโt run from inside .zip)

- Engine: GameMaker Studio 2 — 2022.x or later (GML)
- Targets: Windows by default; others via your GM exports
- Import: open project, run, then iterate content/data

- Template: licensed for commercial game development; redistribution of template code as a template is prohibited
- Per-Tier terms: each ZIP includes its own
LICENSE.txt(rules differ between Free and Full packs). No redistribution of raw sprites - Attribution is optional. A suggested credit is provided in each pack

Q: Can I ship a commercial game with the template?
A: Yes — the template license allows commercial use. See per-Tier licenses for asset packs.
Q: Are assets included with the template?
A: The Template (Tier 1) includes Characters_free and Relics_free + a small monster subset for demo scenes. For full libraries, use Tier 2 packs.
Q: Can I redistribute the raw assets or the template?
A: No — redistribution of raw art or the template as a template/pack is prohibited.

You should have somewhere that explains the licensing differences. I don't want to pay $20+ dollars and find out it can't be used commercially for example. Doubt that is the case but please elaborate somewhere outside the paywall what and why it is different. Assets look great btw!
